The Battle of Saratoga was the turning point for the American Revolution. Until the battle, the British were ahead and many people were betting that they were going to win the war. The Battle of Saratoga persuaded more people to side with the Americans including the French. The French didn't think that we were strong enough to win this war but this battle proved them wrong. With the help of this battle, Benjamin Franklin's amazing persuasion skills, and the hatred that the french had for the British, the french became our allies and helped us win the revolution in the Battle of Yorktown.
